For successful verification, when registering a domain, the user must provide us with one of the appropriate documents:

LEGAL ENTITIES
  • ID card of the person authorized to represent the legal entity
  • passport of the person authorized to represent the legal entity
  • certificate of residence issued by the competent authority (digitally signed or stamped) of the person authorized to represent the legal entity
  • driver’s license of the person authorized to represent the legal entity
  • statement of the person authorized to represent the legal entity digitally signed with a verified digital signature (with stated purpose and data: name, surname, OIB/VAT)
  • document or statement with the signature and seal of the legal entity (for the stated purpose, it is necessary to provide information about the legal entity: name, OIB/VAT)
NATURAL PERSONS
  • ID card
  • passport
  • certificate of residence issued by the competent authority (digitally signed or stamped)
  • driver’s license
  • driver’s license of a natural person digitally signed with a verified digital signature (with stated purpose and data: first name, last name, personal identification number) and license
  • Documents must be sent 5 days after the registration offer is issued, otherwise the domain registration may be rejected.
  • All newly registered hr and com.hr domains MUST undergo user VERIFICATION.
  • Domains registered before verification will be resolved in such a way that the user will be informed by us about the need to send a document for verification.
  • Sending a document for verification is also mandatory when changing the user of the hr domain, for a new domain user

The .hr domain is divided into free and paid domains.

A free .hr domain can be registered by:

  • legal entities registered in the Republic of Croatia and natural persons with independent activities registered in the Republic of Croatia with an active OIB

A paid .hr domain can be registered by:

  • legal entities established in one of the European Union member states (VAT number)
  • natural persons, citizens of a member state of the European Union who possess a personal identification number (OIB) issued by a competent authority of the Republic of Croatia

  • Registrars are required to determine the exact identity of domain users based on secure and credible systems and data sources.
