Using ShoutCast hosting, every radio station can easily and cheaply re-emit its radio program all over the world, and enables each person to broadcast their own radio program without the need for expensive radio transmitters. Shoutcast packages are equipped cpanel + whmsonic panel for easy management.

To broadcast the ShoutCast radio program, a computer with a sound card, broadband Internet access (ADSL or cable), and installed a free WinAmp 5.x program. with free Shoutcast DSP plug-in.

Shoutcast DSP plug-in allows you to broadcast audio files playing in WinAmp or broadcast audio from a microphone, audio input of a sound card or PC radio card.

To listen to the Shoutcast radio program, you only need an audio player, for example: Winamp or Windows Media Player installed on the listener’s computer and Internet access.

Shoutcast Packages:

You can use MP3 or AAC+ Encoder. The MP3 format can be listened to using most of today’s audio players (Winamp, Windows Media Player, Audion – Mac OS X, XMMS Media Player – Linux…), and AAC+ can be listened to using Winamp, but the sound quality is significantly better at a lower bit rate. With other audio players, it is also possible to listen to the AAC+ format, but the installation of additional plug-ins is required for listeners.

Which installment will you choose?
The quality of the sound depends on the bit rate. With AAC+ Encoder, the sound quality is already very good at 32kbps, and at 64 kbps, the sound quality is equal to the sound quality from the CD. If you use MP3 Encoder, the sound quality at 64 kbps is approximately like FM radio, and at 128 kbps, the sound quality is equal to the sound quality from the CD.
